Creativity Unleashed: Playful methods for creating therapeutic change

Join us as we discuss methods for harnessing our client's natural creativity as a vital tool for enhancing self awareness and creating change. We will demonstrate specific tools for helping clients to use creative processes to increase emotional understanding. We will use case examples to explore how clients use play, sand tray and art therapy to give us insight into their reality.

Participants will be able to

1. Identify various creative therapy modalities to use with a wide age range of clients.
   
2. Understand benefits of play therapy as evidenced by current research.
   
3. Identify ways to use play and creative process as an assessment tool.
   
4. Learn methods for using expressive therapies to co-create a language with clients to be able to effectively communicate about their emotional process.
